Yup, thats what I’ve won in the photo competition that I mentioned earlier. Altogether, there were about 2045 entries and I was glad that one of my entry was shortlisted. Though I was secretly hoping to win one of the top 3 prizes, nonetheless I am happy that I’ve won something haha.
Well, the prize money is not really enough to help contribute to my wedding prep, but i did give my darling a nice dinner treat earlier
Some pictures to share below, sorry for the quality as it was taken using my phone.

Last Saturday, I had the privilege to shoot the actual day wedding ceremony for Alan and Racheal. The week before their AD, I was pleasantly surprised when Racheal sent me an invitation card for the wedding dinner. Now this is the first time I received a card as a photographer for a wedding that I’ll be shooting! Needless to say, I was really quite touched by this very kind and thoughtful gesture. It is special moments like these that make being a wedding photographer so much more worthwhile and enjoyable!

Guess what? I was just notified that I won a prize in a recent photo competition that I participated in – “Life is great with Nature“. The catch is, I do not know what prize it is as they refused to tell me. Shucks.
Anyway, the prize giving ceremony is next Friday, so I guess I will know by then. Hopefully it will be something that can help me defray part of my wedding costs heh heh.

This session was supposedly to have happened before their ROM a month ago. However, it had to be canceled (twice!) as it rained each time. Last weekend, the skies decided to take pity on us and we managed to have some lens action at Changi beach… finally!
One thing I appreciate is that both Nicholas and Celia are so easy to shoot! They are so natural and spontaneous in front of the camera that it was great fun shooting them! Here are some highlights…
