I met Liz a few months back, where she told me she wanted something slightly different from traditional malay pre wedding shoots. Her sister had chanced upon my website and recommended her to me. We talked about some ideas and then came up (it was Liz who was the more creative one haha) with a kebaya/vespa theme. I thought it sounded really cool!
Fast forward to last weekend, and it was time to put the plan in motion! I must say it was a very enjoyable experience because Liz and Fae were so sporting and they were really natural in front of the camera. In tow was a group of their friends who joined us and they were great fun as well. And here are some of the results!

I am always humbled by the fact that I am trusted with capturing the moments that occur during a wedding. And together with this awareness, I feel privileged to be able to share the joy, and also the intimacy of witnessing the myriad of emotions that is so personal to the couple and to their loved ones around them. These are the moments that define each wedding, and these are the moments that I hope I can always faithfully preserve for them.
Adrian and Minyi got married last weekend, and it was a beautiful wedding. I remember Minyi’s excitement in the morning as she goes through her wedding preparation. Even so, she maintained a cheerful joy helped in no small way by her very good friends and her family around her. Adrian on the other hand, was one cool dude because he does not seem nervous at all as he waited for his bride. Throughout the wedding, one cannot help but sense the love that is shared between the families and the people that surrounded them.
The following are just some of my favourite images.

PixelPixie Photography will be doing more Pre wedding photography sessions in the coming months! Unlike actual day photography, pre weddings are more deliberate, slower paced and focused, and it takes a somewhat different approach to capture great looking images. But you can expect lots of fun, even “romance” in our sessions
To kick start this pre wedding season, we are glad to offer a super attractive promo where a local pre wedding session will be included in our actual day photography package at no extra charge! This promo definitely will not last long so do contact me quickly if you are interested in this.
Now this is surely something that you should raise up your arms in joy for!

Back from Bali, and boy was it a beautiful place! I wished I could have stayed longer as the people, sunset, food, even the weather was so nice! Organised by the Wedding Photographers Association of Singapore, this trip was meant to help us learn the ropes of doing an overseas pre wedding shoot. We travelled with 2 real wedding couples and had a blast shooting them in some of Bali’s famous hotspots. I really appreciate the time and effort taken by the instructors who shared generously with us their experiences and tips of shooting an overseas pre wedding.
To all of you who are thinking of going to Bali, you’ll be glad to know that I’ll be offering Bali Pre wedding photography next year. Stay tuned for the dates!
Meanwhile, here are some images to whet your appetite!
