Behind the camera

Hello, my name is Daniel, and thanks for dropping by! Born as an only child, I tend to be rather reserved in nature. However, ever since I embraced photography, I began to observe people around me, and realised that a person is most beautiful when he is being natural. This forms the essence of my photography.

Wedding photography is particularly close to my heart, as I am able to witness and capture the myriad of emotions expressed when the wedding couple makes the lifelong commitment to each other. As an intimate witness to a couple’s most special day, I never cease to be humbled by the solemnity of the event and it is truly my privilege to create images that hopefully, will always be cherished for a long time.

My style of photography is unobtrusive and non invasive. It requires a keen eye to observe the scene before me and capture interesting and key moments as they unfold. What you will see are images that are not posed or forced, but just simple and natural images that is all about you!

Daniel is a member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) and The Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association [AG]WPJA, professional organisations composed of recognised photojournalists and wedding photographers from around the world.

Daniel is also accepted as a member of the Master Photographers Association (MPA), which only grants membership upon successful qualification by an international panel of master photographers.

Due to his heavy work schedule, Daniel only accepts a limited number of local and overseas assignments a year.
