When Sean and Adeline told me that they are not very good at posing for pictures during their engagement shoot a while back, I remember telling them to just enjoy themselves and not to worry about how they look. In fact, they are not the only ones who have shared this with me, and this is hardly surprising because how many couples also happen to be models? They are just normal folks with all the usual cares and concerns of daily life like you and me, but they have one thing that makes all the difference, and this one thing is all that I need to create the images that you see here.
Call me a romantic, but I truly believe that love is the most powerful thing in the universe, and a couple in love needs no posing, simply because beauty follows them everywhere, from the way they gaze into each other’s eyes, to the way they gently hold each other.
And I think Sean and Adeline has no lack of this thing called love from the way the images turn out, and I really look forward to their wedding in a month’s time!

Ever since we included a complimentary outdoor engagement session in our actual day photography packages, it has become a hit with many of our past couples, and we’ve also had many people asking if there is a separate package available for such a shoot.
Well, I am excited to announce that for a limited time, I will be offering a mini eSession package that is simply a short and sweet outdoor photography session, but designed for you to get back some really wonderful images that you can treasure with that special someone. If you are interested to find out more, do drop me a mail @ daniel@pixelpixie today!

Meet Liu Jing & Ying Hui, who wanted to wear their school uniforms for their casual pre wedding photoshoot, but alas, they realised that it was already far too tight for comfort… But that did not deter them (and me) for having a whale of a time!
They met waaaay back during their secondary school days, but their campus Nan Hua was long gone. In its place was a brand new school, but still they thought it would be cool if we can take a few shots in the vicinity. Especially at their old school gate, and at the bus stop where they used to take the bus together after school. So romantic right?
They are also a fun and goofy pair, and are really really so easy for me to photograph!
Outdoor eshoots like this is a perfect opportunity for me to get to know the couple (and vice versa) better, and the resulting images are often a close reflection of their personalities. I’m glad I got to know the 2 love birds a little better, and somehow I get a feeling I will have lots of fun photographing their wedding soon

Boon Pin and Sarah hardly gets to see each other because both of them are always on business trips. Sarah is based in Beijing most of the time, and only gets to come back home once in a long while. Boon Pin works in Singapore, but he often needs to travel to far away places as well. But this did not stop their love from slowly blossoming…
We often hear that long distance relationships are hard to maintain, and harder to succeed because of all the challenges that the couple face. I think for the most of us, we take it for granted that our partners are always physically relatively accessible. Just meet after work each day, or the weekends for a meal or movie. I think for Boon Pin and Sarah, maintaining a relationship takes quite a different meaning altogether. I believe they also faced many challenges along the way, but I am happy for them, because they’re gonna get married soon! Yay! So here is one success story we can all feel happy about!

Eileen got to know about me thru her friend Kaiying, and Kaiying got to know me thru her cousin Kelly. We live in a small world indeed, but I am far from complaining because I got to photograph all 3 of them!
Eileen and her hubby Mono will be going thru their customary wedding soon, and before that happens, she wanted some casual shots of them taken. They are also enthusiastic shutterbugs, and have been going around places to take pictures. So you can imagine we spent quite alot of our time talking about photography, and also had a boatload of fun shooting in the sand, water and grass!
But don’t take my word for it, check out the pictures below
