It HAS been a while since my last post. Ok, I will not say that I was busy but rather, I had been “preoccupied” with some other pursuits recently heh heh.
Anyway, to share you peeps some images from my latest outdoor engagement session… Introducing Quentin & Linda! They will be getting married real soon so you will get to see this gorgeous pair again =)
We had hoped for sunny weather but alas, it was not meant to be as it was cloudy and soon afterwards, it poured like crazy. It was a good thing we already got most of the shots and shelter was available when the skies opened. I think I shall try some shots in the rain someday… hmmm.
Did I tell you I just LOVE these outdoor eshoots?

Let’s have some casual fun this time!

If you remember Kelly’s wedding a few posts back, you probably would recall seeing one of the bridesmaid gleefully holding up a wasabe filled biscuit in one of the pictures. The bridesmaid was Kaiying, and she is also Kelly’s cousin. Fast forward to a few weeks, and it was now her turn to be the darling of my camera
Kaiying and Jeremy just got happily married, and I will be sharing some wonderful images from their wedding a little later. For now, these are some images from a really fun outdoor shoot that we did!

I photographed Eric and Julia’s solemnisation just under a year ago and they will be going through their customary in another month’s time! I always imagined that if time is a person, then he is a real sneaky fellow. He barely moves when he knows you are watching him, but whizzes past you the moment you became unaware of him!
Anyway, I am really looking forward to shoot their wedding soon! But before that, we had a really fun session over the last weekend shooting their engagement photos. We started somewhere along Tembeling Road, at their favourite Wanton Noodle stall. Eric revealed that they spend almost every saturday there enjoying a hot plate of noodles. I got to try it out and guess what? It was really good! (especially with the special homemade chilli). And what was more amazing was that Julia’s family had patronised this particular stall ever since her grandad’s time! I will definitely revisit this stall again soon. For those of you who are interested, the name of the stall is “Hong Mao Noodle”, and it is located along Tembeling Road, opposite Haig Girl’s School.
After a full lunch, we went around the vicinity to relax and also take some pictures along the way. Eric & Julia wanted something slightly different for their shoot, so we went back to their home afterwards and had a really fun time shooting snippets of their daily lives and also the love of their lives… Rafael!
Here are some images of the day to share with all of you.
No special effects done here. Promise.

One of the things that I love about outdoor engagement shoots is that the whole thing is just so fun and relaxing. We usually start in the late afternoon when the sunlight is just turning golden, shoot a little, go somewhere else, laugh, talk, make silly jokes (from me mostly) and shoot somemore, and very soon the sky is already almost dark. It is not a long session, just nice and sweet!
And I just had one of these sessions just yesterday! Mark & Rochelle recently engaged me to shoot their wedding which will be taking place next month at Marina Bay Sands. For our outdoor shoot, I wanted a very relaxing, a bit back to nature kind of look and they were cool about it! We wanted to get a bright big yellow sunflower but could not find one in time, so we settled for 2 bright red daisies which I think turned out really nice!
On to some of my favourites for the day!!
