I came back recently from my 3rd honeymoon to London and Paris. My wife and I decided that if there was any period in our lives that we can travel freely,  it is now when the kids are not here yet! So off we went for a 10 days trip to the capital of UK and France!

This time we chose to fly via Singapore airlines, so that we can try out the A380. I must say the new aircraft is quite impressive! There is more legroom and a better entertainment system. It may be a 13-14 hour flight, but there is more than enough movies and games to keep you occupied throughout the whole journey. We felt that service on the whole was better than what we’ve experienced so far in other airlines. The stewardess were friendlier and attentive. Well done Singapore Air!

Out itinerary was simple – fly to London and then spend 5 days there. We would take the Eurostar to Paris and then spend another 5 days there, before flying back home. As always, we went free and easy coz both of us like to do things at our own pace. One thing we realised is that shopping at London and Paris can really take a toll on your wallet if you are not careful. Haha.

Here’s some pictures from the trip to share with you guys. I will post the Paris pictures on another post. Enjoy!

This is Apple store at Regent street. We were there on 29th May, the second day of the iPad's release in UK. There were quite a crowd there all queuing up to get the Pad!

Oxford street - One of the main shopping street in London

We took a day trip to Windsor Castle, Bath and Stonehenge. This is Windsor Castle, our first stop.

The queen actually stays in Windsor castle from time to time. The union flag at the castle indicates however, that she is not in residence on that day

Just enjoying some ice cream.. english ice cream is yummy!

We gave up trying to get in this portion of the castle after seeing the queue. I thought only Singapore queues!

At the city of Bath. Quite an interesting name... and it literally means Bath in the normal sense as well!

This is where the Romans had their bath in olden times. The city was actually built on top of hot springs!

Our last stop was Stonehenge. I had heard so much about it so it was great that I finally got to see it in person. The skies that day was absolutely fantastic!

At Conventry Garden market.

Outside the National Gallery. One thing we realised is that the weather in London can change rather drastically over a single day!
